Every once in awhile, there are paintings that seem to just will themselves into existence. It feels like those paintings come straight from my soul; like there’s something happening in my heart that just needs to come out. This is one of those paintings. I usually go into a painting knowing where I want it to end up. With this one, I didn’t have an intended outcome. I threw colors down to see what happened, and it evolved with what felt like very little input from me! I was playing when I painted this, and I think it shows.
